Tompkins County's History Matters!

Did you know that individual support makes up almost 40% of our funding? In short, our history would be lost and forgotten if not for the generosity of supporters just like you. When you make a gift to The History Center, you are joining a family dedicated to safeguarding the past and present of Tompkins County for future generations.

We need your help at the end of 2024 to raise $50,000, and we’re asking you to join with us to preserve and celebrate these vital histories.

Together, we can:

Capture and preserve fragile stories that might otherwise fade.
Expand programs and outreach to ensure diverse community voices are represented in Tompkins County history.
Digitize our collections and broaden access, making these stories available for generations to come.

Ways To Give

1. Online - We love partnering with Bloomerang to make sure we recognize and support all of our donors. The easiest way to donate online is through our secure portal using the button below - it's simple, safe, and allows us to record your information accurately.

3. Cash - Cash donations are accepted in-person in our exhibit hall and research library.
