Join Hundreds of Other Community Members Who Believe

Tompkins County's History Matters!

Did you know that individual support makes up almost 40% of our funding? In short, our history would be lost and forgotten if not for the generosity of supporters just like you. When you make a gift to The History Center, you are joining a family dedicated to safeguarding the past and present of Tompkins County for future generations.

We need your help at the end of 2024 to raise $50,000, and we’re asking you to join with us to preserve and celebrate these vital histories.

Together, we can:

  • Capture and preserve fragile stories that might otherwise fade.
  • Expand programs and outreach to ensure diverse community voices are represented in Tompkins County history.
  • Digitize our collections and broaden access, making these stories available for generations to come.
